Jan Owen is a South Australian poet whose sixth book Poems 1980 – 2008  was published by John Leonard Press in 2008. She will be taking up a fellowship at Hawthornden Castle, Edinburgh, in September and participating in the Festival International de la Poésie at Trois Rivières, Quebec, in October.
