Born in South Korea, Jae Newman was adopted in 1982. He lives with his wife in Jamestown, New York, where he teaches writing courses and coaches men’s soccer at Jamestown Community College. He earned an MFA in Writing at Spalding University, and he continues to work on a manuscript of poems entitled Postage. His work has appeared in several journals including The Bellingham Review, The Louisville Review, and 5 AM.
