Lytton Smith was born in Galleywood, England, and lives in Manhattan. A chapbook, Monster Theory, selected by Kevin Young for a New York Chapbook Fellowship, is forthcoming from the Poetry Society of America. His first collection, The All-Purpose Magical Tent, winner of the Nightboat Poetry Prize judged by Terrance Hayes, will be published by Nightboat Books in April 2009.
